Create an itinerary including Church of San Felipe Neri (Oratorio de San Felipe de Neri)
Take in panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and the old town from the rooftop terrace of Church of San Felipe Neri (Oratorio de San Felipe de Neri), one of the city's most significant neoclassical structures. Built at end of the 18th century, the cloister and the church today host a private school for girls. As you approach, you'll notice the exterior's white walls and sturdy simple columns, while inside the classrooms you may feel like you've taken a step back into the 1950s. Ask the students to give you a guided tour of the place in English. Many notable figures, including presidents and archbishops, rest in the crypt under the cloister. To enter the church you'll have to find a door a few feet away from the building. Once inside, do not miss the four sculptures of angels. • This might of been my favorite thing in Sucre. I was nervous about the “finding the door” thing but it wasn’t so hard. If you locate the BCP atm it is essentially across the street. Loved the view...

  • A must go, beautiful terrace and views, entry is 17bs or so. Open till 17:30. A short explanation buy a guide is included.
  • As a tourist attraction I probably say that this the best way to admire the sunset in Sucre + very Instagram place. Roof itself is the main attraction (to much history). Try to arribe close to the 5 p.m. On pandemic days this place is really quiet. 6/10 because the rest of the church is closed. Worth to see the sunset..
  • A MUST visit when in Sucre. Beautiful monastery built in 1792 currently a school. Climb to the terrace and get the best Sucre views. Opens from 14:30 until 17:30.
  • Great view from the city. But not much to visit there.
  • Excellent view over the city from rooftop. 17 Bs entry for foreigners.
