  • Such an amazing cave! Outside temperature was 40C and inside always 11.4C Windy is only at the entrance of the cave until you get deeper. Then magic begins... With a great guide it was a pleasure learning on cave biodiversity. Entrance ticket is about 7.5 EUR for adults and 4 EUR for children.
  • Our guide was knowledgeable you can tell he is passionate. No one else was there during low season so we had a private tour. I felt it was amazing.
  • One of the most incredible places to visit in Herzegovina. Tours start each hour and run about 45 minutes. Hard hats are provided and required, mostly because in some parts the ceiling is low. Since temperature in the cave is always around 11 C, they also provide jackets if needed. We came on a hot day, 31 C outside, and we're met with a pleasant breeze at the entrance, like a natural A/C. Guides spoke English and expertly described the history and the formations in the cave. The cave itself is amazing, with very large chambers and beautiful lighting. Highly recommended!
  • Great spelunking opportunity, will even likely see the blind salamander native to this massive cave complex. Looks like a pale white axolotl with no eyes about 23 cm in length with external gills.
  • Vjetrenica is a beautiful cave with lots of things to see. The main star is certainly the manfish, a small and unusual creature. Be sure to bring warmer clothes, because it's 11 degrees inside.
