Excellent experience. It is a long trek, but not hard, mind you, it was the impression I had, perhaps because we did the ascent at dawn and the temperatures were much lower during the day. Anyway, don't stop doing it. The excursion to see the sunrise starts at 1am, from Abraao, recommendation, yes or yes with a guide in this case. Although the path is marked and it could be done alone, if you did not know, you would run the risk of getting lost, so if your plan is to save the 150R of the excursion, do it only during the day.
