At Sozopol Old Town, experience the beaches, history, culture, and cuisine of an ancient seaside town. Walk the town's narrow cobbled streets alongside sun-dried brick walls and old wooden houses. Older women sit in front of the houses, chatting, knitting, and selling freshly picked figs and homemade jams and jellies. Watch fishermen on wooden boats pulling nets from the sea, then stop at one of many traditional restaurants for Bulgarian, Greek, or Turkish cuisine. You'll also find fish stalls, coffee shops, snack bars, and campsites. The town is famous for its lively cultural scene, especially the Apollonia art and film festival. • I visited only the old town in Sozopol. This is a cozy and nice place. I liked walking along its streets, the embankment, and going into small galleries. It was the end of the season, so it was not crowded, because of this, the walk was even more enjoyable :)
  • We have been here twice and it is a delightful place to satisfy all your holiday requirements.
  • Incredibly romantic town. The old town is steeped in ancient history and such a wonder to explore. The quaint restaurants overlooking the sea provide exquisite views. The new town is a little livelier but unspoilt by Western commercialism. The restaurants are numerous and abundant with live traditional music and it is quite tempting to join in the with the "hora" being danced around the tables.
  • You can spend here all day. A lot of restorants
  • In love ❤️ See you soon
