Nary Kitchen, Battambang

Outstanding service from the first minute. This restaurant has both vegetarian and vegan options available for most dishes and the people working there have a good comprehension of what is and is not vegan. The gentleman that served us was extremely nice and helpful. He even provided us with free bananas as we were leaving. My dish, sweet and sour tofu with vegetables and steamed rice had tonnes of flavour and the perfect amount of spice for me. Probably my favourite meal in Battambang.

Did the cooking class here with Toot and would absolutely recommend it! We were taken to the market to buy fresh ingredients & Toot was so helpful in explaining everything step by step. He made the afternoon a lot of fun while learning about Cambodian food and ingredients, even emailing us the recipes to recreate at home. Also very good value for money & a delicious feast at the end!

We ate food there and loved it so much we decided to do the cooking class the next morning. Toot (owner and teacher) always met us with a warm welcome and was genuinely happy to see us. The cooking class was a wonderful experience all round! Toot is super informative and helpful the whole way through without making anyone feel left out. He is incredibly skilled and is a great teacher. We cooked 3 meals and a dessert and they were all delicious! Getting to sit and eat all of them after with the group was lovely and we left suitably full! I would recommend both just eating there and doing the cooking class. No experience needed and caterers to all abilitys and dietary requirements. We ate there 3 times in 3 days as well as the cooking class. It's banging, go here.

Went here for dinner one night and ended up signing up for the cooking class the next morning! Toot was lovely and accommodated for all our needs, even starting the course earlier in the morning and by making us breakfast. We got taken to the local market to buy fresh produce and then cooked 4 Cambodian dishes, all absolutely amazing. Very well priced aswell. Recommend this place for both the restaurant and the course.

Nary Kitchen cooking class was a very cool experience. After buying the different ingredients at the local market you will enjoy cooking 4 traditional dishes from A to Z. The whole thing for only $10 - meal included! Totally recommend
