Fall colours were almost in full effect when we visited in mid-October. A nice place to grab a bite/drink and take some photos.

Great access starting point for both interior trippers and campground campers for the convenience of amenities from the Portage Store and Permit Office. Tom Thomson's cairn and totem is located at Hayhurst Point at the north end of Canoe Lake. Canoe, kayak, and paddleboard rentals and complete Outfitting packages are available at the Portage Store. Campground deliveries available daily.

Had a picnic here while it was closed. No one else there, it was beautiful. Looks like a great place to go on a canoe or kayak adventure.
