  • This is a fairly rugged hike as the trail winds it was for 2.5 km among rocks and tree roots. The return trip is hard as it is all uphill. The hike was worth it though as the falls were very nice...

  • One of my favourite hikes in Fundy. The Moosehorne - Laverty loop is the best! Great places to swim everywhere!
  • Great hike. Long slow decent all the way to falls. That means long slow ascent on the way out. Not hard by any means but could be taxing on small children and elderly. Best part of these curtain like falls is the swimming hole below them. Great way to cool off when u arrive on a hot day.
  • I agree with one of the previous reviewers. The google maps location for this hike is not accurate. It takes you to a long unpaved road that is scary to drive on. I tried looking around for the actual Laverty falls trail for about an hour but couldn’t find it. In fact we werent the only ones looking for it, we bumped into others as well who were having the same issue.
  • The hike is a bit of a challenge but worth it
  • My friend and I attempted to visit Laverty Falls in Oct 2021. We were led off the highway to make a right turn which brought us to an unpaved road - around 10km to get to the falls. We had to drive really slow as there are a lot of sharp rocks and ditches in the road. Once we reached the end, according to google maps, there was NO sign of an entry way anywhere to hike up to the falls. We were highly disappointed and needed to make that dreadful 10km trek back to the highway which was beyond painful. Not sure if we missed anything along the way. But NO signs indicted we were at Laverty Falls. Instead we saw a sign which said “Brooke Heights”. Either way we will not be recommending this hike to anyone. Please do not drive alone on this road as it is quite bumpy and scary to do on your own.
