Brewster Sightseeing, Banff National Park

Did 2 fab trips. Luckily to have had Mike on both of them. He had a great voice for commentary. Very knowledgeable and didn't over load you. We did the Icefields tour to Jasper and also Mountains Lakes and Waterfalls tours. Both were absolutely amazing and would def recommend

Brewster Bus tour on Icefields Parkway visiting the glass bottom skywalk and Glacier via the Ice Explorer transport was great. Our guide Kodie, and bus driver, Elyse, were great! They were informative, interesting, and fun.

I took the tour of Mountains, Lakes and Waterfalls. My only reason for taking the tour was visiting Lake Emerald. Lake itself was underwhelming (given other lakes I saw during the trip). Takakaw falls were better than I expected. The tour staff was very professional, probably too professional for a leisure trip. For a family trip, I would expect staff to be little more friendly. Having travelled with another smaller tour operator, this felt like a bit of missed opportunity.

So I wasn’t actually supposed to be on the Ice Explorer tour. I was hiking up with a different group when I sprained my ankle, and my guide was able to flag Marc from Brewster’s Ice Explorer down. From there, Marc was happy to pick me up, chat with me at the stop for the walk on the glacier, and otherwise made me feel like part of the group. Marc was a great tour guide- he was funny, informative, and made the whole tour entertaining and accessible. Thank you Marc and Brewster!!

Gerry and Mary Ann took us to Maligne Lake for the boat tour. Mary Ann was very kind and made sure that she went to find everyone on the pick ups. The two of our guides were very informative and made sure to point out to us all the interesting things of note so we could get good photographs. We were really lucky to see lots of wildlife on the way ~ a moose, an enormous elk and 3 bears!! Gerry kept his eyes peeled for these opportunities and stopped the coach so we could get a really good look and great photos! He also made sure to give us some very good warnings about how dangerous the wildlife can be ~ including a story about his own encounter with a female elk!!
