Chinook Rafting, Banff National Park

Our family had an excellent time rafting with Chinook. We had an excellent guide who pointed out things along the way. The orientation was thorough, and the equipment was in great shape.

My husband and I took our two kids, ages 8 and 9, on a rafting trip with Chinook Rafting. I had emailed them beforehand asking for the most family friendly route, and they responded immediately letting me know which one would suit us best. Booking online was straightforward and easy. Our rafting trip was an absolute blast! It was clear that safety was a priority, which we really appreciated. Our guide, Rachel D., was fantastic. She was great with explaining everything we needed to do, what to expect along the way, and answering any questions we had. She was also personable, funny and lots of fun! My family cannot wait for our next rafting adventure, and will be sticking with Chinook Rafting.

Had the best experience with Chinook Rafting! I was greeted with a smile, all the staff were so welcoming and they all just seemed so happy to be there, right from the bus ride to the end of the tour. My guide was Tim from Australia (or New Zealand maybe? I'm so sorry) and he was AWESOME!! He joked with us and took the time to get to know each of the rafters. It totally made the trip (other than the fact we all got soaked which was AMAZING!!). I highly recommend Chinook and if you get the choice, choose Tim!!

Amazing experience rafting! I am a bit late posting the review as we went in July but our instructor Tom was lovely and really good fun. When we arrived we were advised we were unable to do the Horseshoe Canyon raft due to water levels, but they gave us a surf trip on the Kananaskis river instead which was still great fun! Will definitely be recommending to friends heading over to Canada
