Each gravel trail winds their way through alpine lakes, waterfalls, and alpine meadows blooming with wildflowers. The trail system spans over 12 km (7.5 mi) of pristine mountain terrain for you to discover. Feel on top of the world when you summit Mt Standish via Standish Express Sightseeing Chairlift. With an elevation of 2,400 m (7,875 ft), it will give you a full 360-degree view of the area. From here you can enjoy an unobstructed view the famous Mount Assiniboine--the Matterhorn of the Canadian Rockies at 3,618 m (11,871 ft)--as well as other joys on the horizon, such as Rock Isle, Laryx, and Grizzly Alpine lakes. Get off the chair lift and enjoy an easy, one-hour (with multiple stops for photo ops) trip through the meadows and back down to the lodge. Gorgeous place, highly recommend.

Fairly challenging hike up through the meadow to get to the lakes. Worth every last bit of it. Wildflowers everywhere and profound and refreshing quite and tranquility.
