Superb experience!! First time WW kayaking and went literally from zero to hero. Thanks to Chris, who's such an amazing instructor, I ran the entire river on my second day without flipping once. The place has a great vibe, very well maintained and eco friendly, delicious food too. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to learn or advance their kayaking/canoeing skills.

I have been to MKC many times over the years, and this year was better than ever. The instructors were excellent, the accommodations are great, and every year there are improvements to the facilities and the food. I am vegetarian, and they do an excellent job providing great vegetarian alternatives at every meal. By the end of the week my non-vegetarian daughter was picking the vegetarian food. The price might seem high at first glance, but it is really an all inclusive vacation with top quality instruction for both kayaking and canoeing. MKC provides great value for the money.

Truly a remarkable spot. Great access to the river, excellent facility design, capable instructors, friendly staff. And the food was absolutely to die for - the kitchen does an amazing job.

Everything from the Food to the Staff to the Location is Awesome! I had an amazing time spending a week at MKC doing the 5-Day whitewater course. Ill absolutely be back again! If your thinking about going absolutely get the meals! A MKC course is worth every penny!

World class full current whitewater instruction. Just finished the 5 day tandem canoe course. Such a great experience. Very knowledgeable instructors who were able to communicate well, demo superbly and ensure each of the 8 students progressed as much as possible through the week. The water flow agreement with Ontario power generation ensured a challenging but manageable flow on the Middle Madawaska. Although a very early season course, all was ready and professional. Most importantly it was also a lot of fun. The Kitchen staff did an amazing job of keeping all students from the many courses happy. Hats off to Emily, Billy and crew. Jerome ensured all instructors were well briefed and each day worked like clockwork. The office staff ensured all admin was simple and efficient. Thanks Will and Bianca. A special mention to Maddie, Rachel and Robin for their outstanding instruction, sense if humour and diligence with each and every one of us. The fact that we had students from all over North America and Europe speaks volumes. Lots of choice for sleeping arrangements as well. Whether you are a beginner or a pro, this is the place to learn, meet fellow paddlers and have an adventure. Missing MKC already so a return is in the cards.
