    Too early in the morning to visit but we were able to walk around. Nice building, interesting history. Some of the signage has deteriorated with age. The whole place seems in need of a little tender.....  more

    I went here because I have ancestors who lived in this town for several generations. The inside was closed, but we brought lunch and ate it on the picnic benches out front. There were a lot of historic markers, but unfortunately the one that looked most interesting was too faded by the sun to see or read easily. There is also a trail with markers about local birds and some nicely landscaped areas. Apparently, they are planting a tree here for every baby born in the town, which is a neat idea.

    A one of a kind historical site, this beautifull place gives a great taste of the Quebecois life at an other time. ( best to go in the summer )
