We visited in early July 2022. Our son had spotted to museum in 2021 and asked to visit for his birthday. It is a really fun place to visit for people of all ages. Was fun and interactive. Our guide through the mine was really amazing! He was friendly and very entertaining. It was fun to learn how the copper was pulled out of the mine, what tools were used and just to experience being deep in the mountain. Our son enjoyed the whole experience, especially the BOOM! Live action experience. He also greatly enjoyed the panning for gold outside. He's been on a gold mining kick ever since! Highly recommend visiting while in the area.

Best museum I have ever been to! The guided tour with the Boom film is a must! Super interactive! Taking the train underground was one of a kind. Seeing the mill was just jaw dropping. No wonder lots of TV shows and movies used it as a filming location. Panning for gold was also super fun! You can spend hours just panning and seeing all the little gems.

Definitely worth the money. Especially if you love history and learning. My kids loved this tour (12, 10, 8). They suggest 1.5-2hrs. We stayed almost 3 hrs. Lots of fun. And the final “Boom” show is like a mini Universal studios show. Very well done.

This is by far, the most enjoyable and informative museum I’ve ever visited! Once, the largest copper mine in early 1900s in BC, this historical spot is situated in an amazing landscape near the Britannia Beach within the territory of Squamish, BC. In its seventy-year life, the Britannia Mine had a fascinating history, which is perfectly presented. This amazingly interactive museum has lots of interesting activities and tours, for the whole family members! I enjoyed the ride inside the mine with our amazing guide! You should not miss that and the BOOM show!

Absolutely loved touring the mine grounds. The boom show was amazing and I almost cried at the end. Definitely bringing my kids in the future. My tour guide was so kind and knowledgeable and I really enjoyed his presentation
