  • A different piece of Art! The sculpture sits next to the bridge, Which you pass if you walk Policeman's Creek Boardwalk.

  • Just a head in land @ centre of town. Parking is 150 meter away from this spot. Free parking is available for cars. Walking surrounding of town is superb experience but this place is okay type, not so great. It can be avoided, if you want to spare more time on other sightseeing’s. Apart from this photo, nothing is there. 🤗
  • A giant head near the policeman Creek. Nice attraction to the spot, it is just in the weird location near the street . Could have been placed at a better location.
  • It’s a nice sculpture but just super weird and random! In a good spot and easy to get to but would be nice to see if there was a reason for making it or the story behind it.
  • During our walk about, this caught our eye immediately. An artist from Alberta was commissioned to design a sculpture for the City of Canmore. Since Canmore means 'Big Head' in Scottish, that was his inspiration. It was installed in 2008 and weighs nine tons. It's right near Policeman's Park and there are several eating establishments in the area. It makes for a nice stroll on a nice evening. Kids will have fun with the idea. If you are lucky you might see it accessorized with a knit cap in the winter or a pirate patch in the summer as the townspeople sometimes decorate it.
  • I never expected it was near the bridge because we were all looking at the mountains. But i do love the background scenery where the sculptire was located. What an art.
