Have a picnic at Cobourg Beach, a sandy beach on the shore of Ontario lake and a popular getaway spot for locals. Situated in Cobourg's Victoria Park, the beach is separated from the lush green area with a boardwalk. Stroll along the path and go for a swim in the lake water, where the gradual incline makes it suitable for children. Alternatively, take the kids to the splash pad or the public pool. Lounge on the soft sand and have some snacks from the canteen--just beware of hungry, assertive seagulls. I’m picky about what I swim in… this beach was so clean! No stones, shells, or seaweed, just clean sand in the water as far as I could go. Great for children!

Be careful parking here. After driving around for 30 minutes I saw a lot with metered parking with spots available, paid my 20 parking fee and went to the function I was attending. I did not notice...

I always love to go to the beach. It's such a great experience for my young ones. Nice little play structures and the water pad will be an excellent little bonus for the children when it opens up. The kids will love it! I am excited for all the new events coming this summer!

Clean beach. Entrance is free. Parking is either $40 per day or $5/hour no limit. Watch where you are parking, there are some streets reserved for residents only. There are 2 splash pad areas, playgrounds, bathrooms. Water in August has been amazing!

This is a beautiful spot for anyone to enjoy. There is a water park, park, cover picnic area, clean bathroom, restaurants, shopping, some food truck and sightseeing. You can always find a good spot to set up on the sand area. If you're looking to set-up in the shade area, you need to come earlier (9am or earlier). Parking can get expensive, and sometimes you have to park some distance. I would advise dropping off your load and anyone that can't walk far. After four at some spot parking is free. We have been here for July 1st and had a great time. Do remember to bring everything needed, to enjoy the beach and sun. If you stay till about 8pm, you can watch or hear the guy playing the Uilleann Pipes, by the water. 🪗

One of the greatest towns in Ontario. It's so beautiful and gorgeous especially in fall season. I am hoping to visit here again in winter. I believe I will enjoy the different scenes from the season to season.

A very nice beach with amazing soft sands and fairly clean waters. Given the size and how busy this beach is, it's kept quite clean. Kudos to the city staff for keeping it this way. Outdoor rinse off area are available by the parking roundabout/entrance to the beach. Would recommend. Excellent place for your summer time . There is lot of things to enjoy …. Beach Valley ball … Camping …. Swimming … Kids can enjoy playing in sand .. Food Truck.. Music… You can easy spend whole day in summer .
