The Essex Railway Station is a historical site which has been restored to the 1907 era. The Station houses a gift shop offering souvenirs, gifts and crafts. Railway artifacts on display, a pedestrian walkway (Heritage Gardens) links the Station to Talbot Street and the downtown area. Annual events include a model train show in February, displays during Fun Fest, Spring garden show in May, Crafts at the Station in December. Meeting/hall space available for rental for groups up to 50.
