OWL Rafting, Foresters Falls

Absolutely incredible trip. Signed up for medium intensity but we were offered to switch to high intensity upon arrival. You definitely need to be a strong and confident swimmer for this one. Our guide, Mahoney, was phenomenal. Very informative, charismatic and experienced. He read the room (raft) well, and decided to go easy on us, as the first two raft flips definitely spooked us. I believe the high intensity does the same route as medium intensity, however having a smaller boat with less people increases your chances of flipping. 100% will be returning next year for high intensity again, just need to build up my swimming skills! I cannot recommend OWL enough. Even the BBQ dinner and pontoon ride back to base was an awesome experience. Watching the recap video was a perfect way to end the trip. Just remember to paddle hard!!

Really enjoyed our experience at owl rafting! First - on the camp ground. It’s based by a lovely lake with paddle boarding and kayaking options, beach volleyball etc. You can spend some time by the fire in the evening or if you happen to be there on a Saturday, I believe they do live music. Second - on rafting itself. To be honest, I was scared to go for high intensity. However, our instructor Alex took the stress out of it for me. He gave a detailed explanation of all health and safety methods and a thorough description of every rapid. He also gave options to walk every rapid in case one of the participants were scared to go through it. Well, for the scaredy cat that I was, I actually went through all the rapids. And I truly believe that Owl’s - and especially Alex’s - huge focus on safety did the trick for me. Big thanks to the crew for an awesome experience. I would come back again (maybe I would just whine a little bit less about being scared next time!!).

The best rafting experience ever. We came a day before rafting and enjoyed the day at the camp swimming, kayaking and paddling. There are so many activities you can do at the camp and I wish we could have spent more time there. Next morning we rafted with Nani - the best guide on the Ottawa river. He made our experience really fun and entertaining. We did the medium intensity though will do high next time.

A truly wonderful experience for our whole group. The guides were friendly and experienced, the tours very well organized, the food was good, and Owl overall were very generous hosts. It's a scenic spot with a little beach and a disc golf and other activities, and all the facilities are clean and up to date. A Very safe and fun activity. Recommended!

We recently went on the Adventure Raft & Resort Trip and had a fantastic time. The facilities are excellent, the food is delicious and the staff are all top-notch! Our River Guide Nani was SO great. He was friendly, fun and very knowledgeable. This has become an annual tradition for our family. We would definitely recommend Owl Rafting!!
