Cineplex Cinemas Fredericton, Fredericton

Always a great time watching a movie and getting some popcorn and snacks. No complaints. Limited time items are very limited though so you gotta be there on premiere night for special buckets.

Did not spend 50$ on movie tickets alone to see a movie for the first time in 3 years only to sit through hearing a gang of chatty teens on one side and another family doing a running commentary of everything they saw on the other as if they thought themselves in a reaction video or commentary special feature. Ushers should be in the theater ensuring people who came to watch a movie can actually enjoy it. I miss the ads that reminded people to be courteous to others, too. The seats are small, the inclination is barely there so if somebody tall sits in front of you, you won't be able to see the screen. Theres also damage to screen in theater 2, on the far right hand side, about a quarter of the way up the screen. There's also no checking of online tickets unless you voluntarily walk up to somebody for them to check it, so I could have not paid money to go see the movie and just walked right in. Concession lines/set up are no good. Overall the entire location needs massive renovations desperately and should take their cues from Cineplex in Dieppe in terms of layout and appropriate incline for seating arrangements and options.

Awful theatre. Not much of a slope in the rows. The screen is so high I'll break my neck. My seats don't lean back. My lower back is killing me and the seats are too narrow. I'm a young strong guy in my 20's.I can't lift the arm rests and the cup holders are on a 45° angle. I don't trust these plastic lids enough. Some of my drink spilled. This is the only theatre in the area sadly. This definitely isn't a good Cineplex location and it's definitely not a landmark cinemas. Landmark cinemas should move in and destroy Cineplex in this area. They have recliner loveseats so big that you can lay down. Cineplex is over priced and heavily over valued. NEXT!!!

Overall it's good, the seating is small between the rows, especially if you're tall or taller. But by god the price of the concession is way over priced.

Not sure if this is only in New Brunswick but its not cool that Cineplex now have a booking fee of $6 when you purchase tickets online. Its waived if you join their CineClub for $10/mo. This is such a SCAM!!!
