  • We love Kilarney, We do have hang out on the beach, or take the paddle boards out. The lifeguards are very strict with rules, no floaties in roped-off area, no adult beverages. Though I have noticed.....  more

  • Beautiful place for family. A nice calm beach within the city and a very nice trek. All amenities are there including life guard. A must visit while in Fredericton.

  • A nice little spot that's not far outside the centre of the city. It only took me 30min to bike from the downtown core on the south side of the Wolastoq River to the lake's trail system. The Rotary lodge is a great spot and is even, at least partially, powered by solar panels which was cool to see. It was actually the club I currently belong to who helped get this up and running long before I had ever been a member. The trails themselves are interesting and filled with natural beauty. The lake is a bit small, but there's still plenty of space for swimming along the beach and a bit of very leisurely kayaking or other such activities. It being within the city is one of the main reasons why I continue to choose Fredericton as a place to live. Like many spots along the Fredericton trail system, it's a great pitstop or weekend activity as you explore the over 120km of trails withing Fredericton's city limits. During the winter, the trails also offer various options to stay active during the long winter months.
  • Killarney lake trails are excellent for winter activities- skiing, snow shoeing, walking. Beautiful trails , right within city limits. Pictures tell you only half the story. Winter wonderland!
  • Honestly if you can go to another "lake" go, whomever maintenances Killarney need a way to filter/ clean the lake more since from what I can tell it doesn't have a major water source in nor out.
  • A great place to visit throughout the year. I use it primarily for fishing in the summer and ice fishing in the winter.
  • A lake with trees and some trails. Nice. Two parking lots.
