Located in Essex County in the viticulture area of Lake Erie North Shore, our winery is situated on the water with a breathtaking panoramic view of Lake Erie. Viewpointe is the perfect place to gather with family and friends to enjoy a glass of wine with fresh seasonal fare on the Lakeside patio, tour the beautiful grounds and facility, or partake in our amazing annual events such as our summer concert series and winter lighted tractor parade. We invite you to come and enjoy wine and winemaking from a “different pointe of view”.

Absolutely gorgeous view and always wonderful experience at Viewpointe. Makes for a great afternoon experience. I love that in our own little Essex County we can enjoy so many different places. Love to head out here for some love music and a yummy wine slushy. Food is always excellent and staff always helpful and accommodating. Different from all the other wineries but that is what makes Viewpointe it’s own unique experience. Keep up the good work Viewpointe — you are loved by many ❤️

Very disappointed, no service at all, nice place but terrible food. No service. What a difference from last time we came a few years ago when there was table service. Plastic glass for wine. Self service. Will never come back. What a waste.

The name says it all. The setting here is absolutely perfect. Beautiful views of the lake set the atmosphere and the tasting room has 270 degree viewing. The staff was friendly and attentive. The wines have a "young" flavor and minimal complexity but are appropriately priced for thier value.

Take my review with a grain of salt as the low score might be a one off experience, but my group didnt find any of the wines to be good at all. Perhaps all of our samples were off, but my group of 4 all chose different wines and didnt enjoy any of them. Beyond the wine, however, the service was good and the views definitely made up for it

The setting is beautiful. Some of the reviews are a bit harsh. True that the wine would be better served in glass rather than plastic. The food is fine. Nothing special but ok . The service is pretty good and the people are nice. It is self-serve as it is obvious due to covid, location, employment etc. this is the best system for them at the moment. It is what it is and if your expectations are only for something that is nice and okay this will do. Fancier dining means Fancier prices. I will gladly return. Been there several times over the past few years. Good luck to Viewpointe. My guess is that in a few years it will be a residential setting.
