  • This hidden gem is located in the quaint, little village of Hillsboroug, just a 15-20 drive from Moncton center. Visitors who seek a great history lesson of the railroad in Canada will love this...

  • I love a good railway museum! Unfortunately I visited in the shoulder season so it wasn't actually staffed. It's a small museum and there's nothing stopping you from entering the old equipment on site. I'm rating the museum only 3 stars because as a museum they should be protecting the equipment, but all the old passenger coaches are open to the weather with nearly all the windows missing. Not a great way to preserve the heritage. That said it brought back a lot of memories from a time when traveling by rail was fun and/or relaxing.
  • An honest last minute find. Driving from Moncton to the Fundy coast, I stumbled upon this museum. Lots of old rolling stock including a firefighting tank. Super rare, I had never seen many of these historic train sets before. There are picnic tables where you can dine next to the trains. The train station has been preserved. The museum comes recommended.
  • At first we were not sure. But it is very kids friendly, they have a little museum and you can visit inside some train. Some are very difficult to enter in. It was awsome. And I have a lot of great picture. Entrance cost for a family of five: 25$
  • We found the rail museum by accident on our way to Moncton from Fundy National Park. It was unfortunately closed but they have a lot of awesome outdoor trains and a great looking train station.
  • It was closed when I went, So I wasn’t able to see anything that was inside But what was in the outside yard was cool.
