  • There are so many interesting items in the house, and the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. It was an unexpected stop, but well worth it.

  • Step through the front door and into a beautifully kept home, rich in history and stories of days gone. The staff take pride in sharing their history and finding your place in it. Yes, if you have any connection to the Steeves Family, they will find it. ☺️ A treasure trove of artifacts and information. In addition, this museum offers tours of the wooden Anglican Church across the street, and houses the Masonic Lodge.
  • It was a really interesting museum. So many things collected from past Steeves. The tour guide came in on a Sunday when they weren't regularly open for our tour and she told the stories very well. I learned quite a few things.
  • Staff were professional, knowledgable, and engaging. The large collection of artifacts are presented very nicely, and the house itself is simply beautiful. All my expectations were exceeded.
  • One of the best house museums this side of the Fundy.
  • Very interesting history lesson!!!
