    Many of the traditional designated trails and areas in the Highwood Pass are quite busy on the good weather weekends when the highway is open. But Arethusa Cirque, with it's informal parking area on.....  more

    Arethusa Cirque Distance: 4.5 km loop Elevation Gain: 275 m Parking: On Highway 40, 1.3 km south of Highwood Pass Day Use on left hand side just after crossing Arethusa Creek (The parking lot is gravel and unmarked).
