  • Great overall museum if you love ships and ship history. Heavy on the French here, but that's not a big issue, as all displays are bilingual. Took the tour if the hydrofoil, and the icebreaker...

  • We really enjoyed this museum. Such a great find. A lot of really interesting videos. We especially liked the one of making a canoe from birch leaves. Also the inside of the icebreaker is worth visiting. The views outside are beautiful too. Highly recommended!
  • Amazing museum with a cute gift shop; worth the admission fees. They are also doing a wonderful job sanitizing during COVID-19; feel very safe in here. Many boats, videos, slides, and we can visit the coast guard icebreaker in person (the hydrofoil is closed, but there’s a wonderful video presentation of it in a room with AC). The museum is one of the highlights of our vacation!
  • Really nice place. It's got a lot of boats and makes you realize how important boats are around here, in the past and present. The boats you can walk on are really fun and I'm sure anyone could have a blast. There was a lot if wind outside, so if you're gonna stay outside then get a coat ready.
  • Me & my husband had a great time visiting this museum. Interesting & detailed... The audio scanner thru your phone really helps alot to understand... Worth to visit.
  • Renovations were on-going during my visit and the boats were accessible. Everything else was open, not worth the visit when the boats are not open for touring.
