  • On one of the world's most beautiful highways, the Icefields Parkway, you can't miss Herbert Lake. Another one of the beautiful lakes in this area.

  • A wonderful, small and less crowded lake along the Icefields Parkway. Good place to take a short walk around the lake and for a picnic lunch.

  • A beautiful lake just as you go onto the icefields parkway, well worth a short stop to take a look and get a few photos. Enjoy!

  • Detour to here when Lake Louise is way too busy in the summer time. The view here is breathtaking and the water has dreamy colors. The water was cold despite the 30-degree weather and had many bugs by the shore. However, the trail around the lake was super fun and kid-friendly. It’s berry season so we saw a black bear on the trail but it just wandered away when it saw us.
  • If you're getting an early start on the Icefield Parkway, make sure to include a stop here. In the morning on a clear day without wind, this lake offers an amazing view with a glassy reflection. There's a very small shoulder in front of the lake where you can stop and take a quick picture. If going later in the day, this lake appears to be super popular for kayaking and paddle boarding.
  • Beautiful peaceful lake, pull off of Icefields parkway. Saw many people taking a swim. Nice to just walk around on the trails. Beautiful views.
  • Such a beautiful lake! It’s very easy to get to and accessible and has a decent sized parking lot with restrooms. There is a trail that you can walk through the trees by the lake that is so scenic!
  • Beautiful Lake on the way to Jasper!!! Another quick stop when driving through Banff/Jasper Icefield Parkway. Great views of Mountains, forest and Glaciers. Great place to stop and click pictures. Seems like this lake is hidden gem. No one was there when we visited in July. You will feel calm and serene walking through the forest towards the lake. You can see the reflection of trees/forest. Parking is available near the lake. A must visit place when visiting Banff and Jasper!! Highly recommend!!
