  • We saw many different birds - and it wasn't even the birding season. The 5 km walk is peaceful and full of changing scenery. Wear bug spray though. When the breeze dies, they'll find you.

  • Peaceful trail, with quaint surroundings, well maintained washroom facilities, and a hidden gem in Essex County.

  • We were out on Thanksgiving 10/10/2022, the grounds are beautifully maintained. Part of the trail is blocked off due to hunting season, but we were still able to walk a very good distance. We did not have to purchase tickets whatsoever.
  • What a great area! Well marked trails. Lots of birds sighted- geese, sandpipers, long legs, black bellied plover, kill deer, blackburnian warbler, blue teal ducks and more!
  • We decided to bike it not knowing what to expect. Most of the trails are grass covered but wide enough to have bikes and walkers. The biggest loop is by far the most interesting and makes for a good ride at a slower pace.
  • I'm not sure this is a spot I'd come back too. The mosquitos were terrible, trails not as long as I hoped. Great place for bird watching. I dont reccomend bringing your dog. Bathrooms were locked up at 8pm.
  • Briefly stopped here on our way to Point Pelee. Good placeto capture bird pictures. If you are in the area it is worth visiting for a walk with the family and enjoy the evening
