  • The museum provides an excellent overview of the history of fisheries and sailing in the Atlantic region. We spent several hours moving through the exhibits on three levels.

  • Unfortunately we did not have enough time to fully appreciate this historical attention, moving on being necessary. If interested in the history, not necessarily fishing, give it at least an hour

  • Great museum! Such an attention to details! Kids will love cute little facts about the fish and lots of games along the museum. Adults will certainly learn a lot of new interesting facts. Be sure to save some time for the old fishing boat.
  • Cute little museum. Lots of different aspects, from history, to aquarium, to Indigenous education. I went through it pretty quick - 1 hour was enough for me. But my husband spent 2. Great for all ages.
  • We had a nice time walking through the museum and taking part in the Blue Nose talk. Lots of bathrooms, elevator available, gift shop and even a restaurant on site. Walking through the schooner was a neat experience.
  • Great spot. Been coming here since I was a kid. Lots of info and things to learn. Always love going to see Theresa E. Connor, Cape Sable and the Bluenose when she’s in.
  • Good museum. The end of day rate was affordable and allowed us to see most items. Our favorite parts was the aquarium and going onto the long ship
