Not just for skiing and soaking up the views, Grouse Mountain serves as a major year-round playground for both tourists and locals. Known as the "Peak of Vancouver," this mountaintop recreational area offers plenty of chances to hike, zipline, paraglide, and attend or take part in lumberjack events. Access the summit via a scenic chairlift ride or by hiking up a network of rustic trails. Other year-round attractions include a mountaintop wildlife refuge and theater. For a different perspective, consider joining a helicopter sightseeing tour. To visit Grouse Mountain and other attractions in North Vancouver, use our North Vancouver online holiday planner.

Definitely a one time visit. The lift price was 64$ per person. Parking available in the location. It is 10$ to park for the whole day. Starbucks by the ticket counter and a restaurant and cafe on top of the mountain. The light walk was okay, could have been great if more lights were added.

Grouse is such a nice place to take your family if you ever visit North Vancouver. The family pass was $119 which is so expensive for a day pass trip up the mountain. Even worse, the family pass isn't available for the 50% discount that the other passes are eligible for. The one-time child ticket is $36 and the one-time adult pass is $69. Toddlers are free. The annual pass is $229 for an adult, $199 for a senior, $159 for a youth, $119 for a child; and $10 for a toddler. These passes are good value as it allows you to have unlimited access to Grouse throughout the year. All prices can be seen on the Grouse Mountain website. We went to the light trail which was a really nice trail in the mountain with lots of lights in the snow and on the trees. The path was quite icy and I often had to stray from the trail to make sure I didn't slip on the ice. The path was littered with the gravel to help give traction, but it provided little help in stopping us from slipping. The reindeer were a fun thing to see for the kids, who enjoyed it. They also loved playing in the snow just off the path a bit, where the snow was deeper. All in all, the experience was very fun and the buildings were very warm when we stopped to take a break. The view, although cloudy, was beautiful from above, especially with the sun setting. I do recommend purchasing the season pass if you are planning to visit Grouse Mountain more than once, instead of spending lots of money on the family pass.

I just loved it, I used to see the peak from my downtown apartment, my 1 month stay. And looking it from close is just divine. The scenic beauty is breathtaking. Pick a nice weather when there will be sunny, and a little snow - you will be amazed by the beauty the place has. Skyride is a must, its included in the mountain admission ticket. The experience going up and aoming down is next level. Its so pleasant to eyes. It cost you 61 candian dollars and worth every penny. You will never regret it. If you know ski or like snowboarding, a lot of places to do so. There is a cafe inside where you can enjoy food and drinks, keep yourself warm and enjoy the beauty.

Went to the Peak of Christmas. Started by spending 40 minutea trying to park. Light walk was the best part. So beautiful. Ice skating was okay. The mountain had a brand-new employee running the show who did not have experience with the cash registered machine, handling a huge line-up of renters. Explained that all skates are more then dull and they have no way to sharpen them. 45 minutes to go down in full snow blizzard. Even the deal #119 per family was not worth it.

Steep price but took the free shuttle and did the Grouse Grind up to save on ticket prices (only needed to buy the download ticket, which is much cheaper than round-trip, although I didn't know that until after my visit...). Plenty of activities on the top, definitely worth visiting for a first-timer! Really enjoyed the lumberjack show and the bird show - the presentations were great and the staff members enthusiastic and engaging. Only wished that the wind turbine would reopen for visits!
