Had a lovely shopping experience in this little gem. Thought it would be a pop in and out but spent 2 hours. Staff very friendly and helpful and now own gloves, sweaters, hats, scarfs in assorted colours. Merry Christmas to me. Even bought mitts for my grandchildren. Loved the history board upon entrance. Thank you ! Don't worry mask mandate was not an issue for me. I alway carry them in my car since I have many immune comprised family members and friends. You can be sure I will be back.

We love shopping at Portolano. Excellent quality, selection and price are only second to the service. Sandra and her staff are always helpful in picking just the right gift. They are always pleasant and quick with a smile and friendly chat. Highly recommend if you are shopping for gifts or yourself.

Rude customer service. Went in specifically for a gift for my mother. I asked if they provided masks since they “required” them over a year after masks are no longer mandatory. She yelled at me to get out because I didn’t have a mask. I didn’t have one but would be more than happy to wear one I just didn’t have one available as they are no longer required anywhere. Even after asking politely if they could provide one so I didn’t have to travel a full 40 minutes back with a mask she was hostile and told me she couldn’t sell anything to me and I had to leave. More to prove a point than actually care about whether I had a mask. If you want people to wear a mask then you should provide disposable ones since they are not longer mandatory so most people won’t have them on them now.

Can’t say enough about this gem of a place. Luxury at affordable prices any time I want to spoil me or someone special. Cashmere socks and shawls are my favorite as well as butter-soft leather gloves in all shades . My daughter loves her sheepskin mitts - easy on and off and oh so warm. Thanks for being in Prescott.
