  • For such a small campground this was a pleasant surprise. If you want shade you had best pick an interior campsite. The sites were decent size. I had site 21 for my 25 ft trailer. I had no problems...

  • Awesome place to check out when on the Northern Peninsula. Camp sites were well maintained and park staff were friendly and accommodating. Showers are a bit rough but still a great place to check out.

  • Cute little camp ground, facilities we clean, staff were kind and attentive. Sites are a little small and exposed not many tall trees. Small swimming area just at the beginning of the camp ground great for kids.
  • Such a quiet campground close to St Anthony, L’Anse aux Meadows and many small coves and villages. No hiking at the park, however lots within a half hour drive.
  • A small campground, not too far away from L'Anse aux Meadows. I stayed there for two days while exploring the northern peninsula. It's an easy drive to all the Viking stuff, and there is a good restaurant/convenience store/gas station to the north in Raleigh not too far away. The campground itself is simple, but we'll kept. There is a single loop of primitive campsites nestled in a grove of stunted fir trees. Some of the campsites have a nice view of the bog adjacent to the camping area. The facilities are good with flush toilets and full sized shower stalls with hot water. Not too many campers, so there was never a wait to use the showers. There is also a small day use area with a beach/swimming area. Did not see anyone there during our visit, so you would probably have the place to yourself. Cost was very reasonable and check-in was easy. The rangers their were very nice and helpful as well. A great experience overall.
  • Small pretty campground remotely located down a rough and bumpy road. No service sites. Quiet and beautiful. Good privacy between sites. Very nice showers and laundry room. Good location to St Anthony and L'Anse aux Meadows.
  • Great place for camping about 30 minutes from L'anse Aux Meadow. Be sure to pay attention and check to ensure there isn't any Fire Bans/Restrictions in place before using the open fire pits.
