Moosehead Breweries, Saint John

In short I'd say it's a waste of time, don't bother especially if you're visiting Saint John with little time to spare. Tour was an hour, mostly focused on the history of the brewery (our guide was great btw). We got to sample some of their small batches which was nice and got a bird's eye view of some idle packaging machines. We didn't get to see the process of making beer (no milling, mashing...) which was a bummer. I don't know if the tour always had this format or if they changed it post pandemic but as it stands I'd say don't bother.

Moosehead Breweries Limited, the maker of Moosehead Canadian Lager, is the oldest family-owned brewing company in Canada. We took the tour had an awesome time! Thank you Justin 🍻

Visited the Moosehead Brewery 40 plus years ago. Alpine Room (original tap room) is gone - replaced by the Small Batch tap room. Good selection of beer with friendly staff. Two and four selection flights.

The small batch brewery was really neat, had reasonable priced beer and lots of variety on tap and to cans to purchase and take home. They had a really spacious patio as well, inside was a little small to sit down for a drink, but all in all a great spot to pop in and have a good cold beer! Also there was a Mexican/nacho food truck in the parking lot to grab some food that paired quite well with the beer.

Tour was amazing! Lots of free samples and got to learn all about the history of the Brewery and see the production process. Pretty cool stuff!
