Sylvan Lake Provincial Park, Sylvan Lake

Who wouldn't like Sylvan Lake in summer? Wonderful view, great shops and restaurants near by. Since many other people feel the same, you are going to have a hard time finding a parking space 😂 Make sure you go there early enough to get a space. My family and I had picnic near the beach but I dared not get into the water. It was greenish with lots of algae and some rubbish as well. But still, there were lots of people who were brave enough to get into the water 😂 The water was just knee high even though you walked far far away to the centre of the lake. It may be great for kids to play around, but you can't really swim there. 😅

Many decades since my first visit here. The photographic opportunities here are endless. Perfect weather for our family picnic. I spent many minutes photographing other families with their cell phones. They certainly appreciated the gesture. An absolutely MUST return.

We bought the picnic mat from there and had a nap, enjoying the peace. Our original plan was swimming but turned out the water wasn’t clean compare to before pandemic. But we loved the place a lot 🏖️

One of a kind place, clean, well maintained, an absolute great experience to visit with family or to get away with your loved one. Great, food options, lots of things to do. I would highly recommend this place to friends and family winter or summer. Everything is walking distance, great hotels, food, drinks, amazing views and friendly environment. Worth a visit.

Amazing place. The time we visited it was very cold and windy; however, my sister told me that this place is espectacular during summer time. People usually spend weeks there having fund. There a lot restaurants just in front of the lake. My wife and I are definitely planning to go back once again on summer days to enjoy this amazing paradise. Highly recommended
