Wander around the 161 hectare (400 acre) High Park, the largest park within the city limits. Amenities include an area consisting of a large pond, gardens, a zoo, and fields developed for games and picnicking, along with a rare example of unspoiled oak savanna. Take a ride around the park on the trackless train that circles the site for an overview of the different areas. A cafe here offers coffee and refreshments. If you're visiting on a weekend, you may be able to make a purchase from the organic produce market. For High Park and beyond, use our Toronto trip builder to get the most from your Toronto vacation.

What a beautiful park in the fall with the trees changing colours. The zoo was so cute, we saw a cababara, peacocks, emus, bisons, goats, lamas, among others. It took us a fair amount of wandering...

Spent a morning with friends and kids whilst visiting Toronto and the Adventure Playground was well worth the tram and bus ride to get there as kept the kids entertained for hours!

Massive park with tons of things to do. Grenadier Pond is a must-see, very tranquil and serene. The best time to come is around April so you see the beautiful cherry blossoms. Great transport...

Very nice park! One of the best free park that I have ever seen. Especially during cherry blossom season! People is packed during weekends so better go during weekdays to appreciate the nature and peacefulness of the place. It does not feel that it was situated inside a city. Finding a place to park your car near the park is kinda difficult, we have to park near the lake and walk which is okay since the weather is good. We will definitely go back! You also have to walk to find restaurants

It may be the best park in Toronto! It's suitable for hiking or walking dogs in summer, and there are many facilities and trails to choose from. There are a zoo, nature trails, and a dog walks area, a swimming pool, a tennis court, playgrounds, and many trees! There are a lot of parking spaces here and many shared bicycles to rent. It is also convenient to have a subway station next to the park. We visited this park for the first time and had a great afternoon here.

High park is my favourite part of Toronto especially when you want surround yourself with nature without getting out Toronto. Fall is so stunning here. There are lots of small trains for a easy hike in the park. And btw, this park is huge, with a beautiful lake with swans and ducks. Must visit if you are a tourist, or looking to go for a trail run or just to spend some peaceful time in nature. Heads-up: weekend can be busy, especially in summers and everyone is here taking lots of pictures.

Cherry blossoms still in full bloom. Although not a sunny day today it was quite pleasant to walk around since there were not a lot of people. Also nice to see many different birds up close! Parking not available inside the park during Cherry blossom season. Extra portable toilets available.

It’s beautiful. Very nice place to hangout with friends, family or alone if you like. You can see various types of bird, goose, swans. On top you will find parking, washroom, food place for convenience (not sure if they are open around the year). Rent a bicycle or walk around to see beautiful nature. Only issue I would say it’s busy sometime
