Create an itinerary including English Bay
Stroll along the sea wall, or enjoy the beautiful urban shore at English Bay, the most populated beach area in downtown Vancouver. Amenities at the beach include washrooms, beach wheelchairs, parking facilities, and a beach lifesaving patrol. Hire a kayak and paddle out into the beautiful bay, or enjoy a game of beach volleyball on the courts. If you happen to be here on New Year's Day and are feeling brave, consider the Polar Bear Swim, an annual winter's dip into the frigid ocean. Arrange to visit English Bay and other attractions in Vancouver using our Vancouver holiday maker app.

  • I stopped here at night and it was beautiful. It was a rainy night but I’m sure it’s even more beautiful under a clear sky. It’s very convenient and accessible too

  • Every year we enjoy the annual musical fireworks in Vancouver. Enjoy the beautiful pictures 😊😊
  • English Bay has beautiful palm trees, sandy beaches, convenient seawall path, kind people. It overlooks the Kits, inlet and the hills of the Greater Vancouver.
  • English Bay is the body of water where the shores of Vancouver meet the Pacific Ocean..the name English Bay commentates a 1792 situation when British Captain Vancouver meets Spanish Captains Valdez and Galiano …today we walked down Point Grey Road from Point Grey Park at Trafalgar Street to Jean Beaty Park..there were opportunities to stroll into other park locations along the way…striking views of the North Shore and Vancouver Downtown are easily accessible…
  • Gotta love Vancouver. Best place to watch the Honda Fireworks. Hopefully this event comes back soon! I miss the crowd. I miss the fireworks. I miss the beach!
  • Sensational ocean views and a popular place for international students to hangout. Beautiful place for lying on grass to have a sunbath, a walk with loved one and a refreshment from a stressful day.
