Just beside Kitsilano Beach sits Canada's longest pool, Kitsilano Pool. This 137.5 m (450 ft) long, saltwater swimming pool is known as "Kit's pool" by the locals. The clear water reflects a turquoise color, reminiscent of a tropical island but without the sand. You can practice your form in the roped section as you take in views of the city and the ocean. The site also offers a picnic area on the grass nearby as well as a playground and volleyball courts. We were there in July and the weather was perfect. The pool is next to the bay and is so clean and well run.

The pool is really long for the swimmers. The view to the mountains is fantastic. The water is heated at 27 degree but if you don't swim, you get cold. Morning visitors are more serious than evening, depends on your level of comfort for swimming or just chilling out. You can buy your ticket online or as drop in. You have one hour and thirty minutes for 7$ ticket. They close the washrooms 15 minutes before closing.

The best place in Vancouver to spend a hot sunny day to cool off a shallow side for family's with young children a center lane for the serious lappers and a side that goes from 5 feet to 8 feet where people like me Like to hang and tread water float exc. Love ❤️ Kits pool

Kitsilano beach pool is North America’s longest pool with almost three times longer than an Olympic pool. It is also Vancouver’s only heated salt water pool… A must go! You might have to wait in queue to get in, but it will be worth the swim with spectacular views of the ocean, the mountains, Kitsilano Beach, and the skyline of Vancouver’s West End glittering across English Bay. The pool is wheelchair accessible and features aquatic wheelchairs and a pool lift to ensure accessibility for all.

You have to make a reservation before going to the swimming pool, and it was personally the most pleasant place
-
Taking a dip in the longest outdoor pool within North America at the cost of around 8 bucks per ticket, is an absolute must-do off your list and one of the many huge privileges of living within beautiful Vancouver! Beautiful panoramic scenery with 360 mountain view, right besides the ocean and a sun trap. This place is a great vibe, cheap tickets and accommodates all ages as well as lane swimming as well as if you just fancy a chill, dip and a few hits on the pool slide. 100% would recommend as a weeknight activity. The pool is also fresh salt water, no chlorine which is pretty sweet. Support your local community!
