Explore the campus of University of British Columbia, surrounded by a regional park and the Pacific Ocean. The campus forms part of an unincorporated area in the province, separate from the city of Vancouver. Wander the scenic rose and Japanese gardens, and admire the numerous architectural gems and art pieces around campus. The anthropology museum is a must-see for its collection of First Nation artifacts. Rub elbows with studious types in the coffee shops, or cool off at the nude beach nearby. • My Daughter is attending there now. Communications is null even to students half the time . The food plan is garbage having mushrooms on toast for dinner or undercooked meat with paying over $6000...

  • Beautiful campus. It's clean with lots of trees and grass. UBC is like a little town of it's own. Lots of places to sit and socialize, or to sit quietly and study. It's huge, so be prepared to walk a lot. Great school, great campus.
  • One of the best universities, UBC is installed in beautiful location - forest on 3 sides ; ocean on one side - ranked to 20 in the list of public universities as per world ranking.
  • Some nice fall colors but parking by the street some areas cost $4 an hour can be a real turn off!
  • This huge world famous university campus is so gorgeous, especially in the fall! It is so colorful everywhere! No wonder it is listed as one of the must-go tourist place in Vancouver as well as a great place to see the fall colors (when the leaves turn different colors in October). I really love their green college (the dorm area for graduate students). It looks like a nice retreat area!!! I wished I could come here for my master!!! Even if I have been to some top universities (e.g., Stanford, Harvard, MIT, etc.), this nice university still wins my heart!!!
  • Lovely campus to walk around. If you’re there on a weekend there’s not much open but you can get a sandwich/coffee etc from Blue Chip in The Nest.
