Just to let all the wine enthusiasts know that if you are ever in Talca/ Maule region, go and taste some wines at Balduzzi (4 for 4.5k pesos). Very friendly place. Enjoy!

Our guide was speaking English, prices were good, wine tasting was amazing, almost full glass for 4 different wines, we really loved it and recommend it

We had a wonderful and very informative tour in English by a young man. We had a tasting of four of their wines and all we're excellent. We will be looking for Balduzzi wines in the USA.

We spent a very enjoyable morning being shown around and told about the Balduzzi Vineyards and Winery in San Javier, by Filipe - whose ‘English’ was excellent. Balduzzi wine was unknown to us in the UK, but the four tastings (Reserva Chardonnay and Carmenere, Cabernet Sauvignon and Late Harvest Chardonnay) all illustrated the qualities of the various wines. The good reason for visiting Vino Balduzzi was that you can complete the trip on public bus from Talca very easily, so there is no concern about drink driving. If only we could pay the local price for the same wine in the UK. Perhaps our esteemed international trade secretary can sort that one out - post-Brexit - as one of his promised many deals - yet to surface.
