Create an itinerary including La Sebastiana
A multicolored, tiered house on top of a hill, La Sebastiana provided the setting for the writing of some of the world's beloved poetic masterpieces. Today, Pablo Neruda's former residence pays tribute to the artist's legacy and contains artworks, 1950s furniture, and quirky bric-a-brac collected over the years. Visit early in the morning or towards closing time to avoid the crowds and long lines at the entrance. Plan a trip to Valparaiso easily and quickly by telling Klarna Trips to suggest an itinerary.

  • This was a complete surprise as I had not heard of La Sebastiana. Loved it. Stairs very narrow...don't know how Pablo Neurada managed to live here...but the view was fantastic.

  • It was a fun adventure taking bus 612 to the top of the Calle Ferrari to see the house where poet Pablo Neruda lived in Valparaiso. It is now a nice museum. The best part was getting the audioguide and listening to his life and achievements. The view from the terrace was great too.
  • From here point of view is good. We can see Valparaiso colorful house and building. Inside the house, we can know Pablo Neruda life with guide.
  • Such a unique place and history and a must visit if you’re an extranjero visiting Chile. Tours in English and various languages. You will learn a lot about Pablo Neruda
  • The best house museum I ever visited. also better than his other house in Santiago
  • Buy tickets in advance. The house is extremely interesting even if you aren't into the Nobel Prize winning poet that became a senator. The audio guidebook works quite well. Take your time to explore. There is something to see in literally every corner of the house and it all has a story. Make sure you find the antique sink that was never hooked up!?
