  • Bordering Mongolia, the national forest was the Emperor's training and hunting grounds during the Qing Dynasty. It has been well preserved and has many photo opportunistic locations.

  • You can either walk up to the peak or take a cable car. Cable car is closed in winter. Walking, you should take the trail the starts at Pule Temple parking lot. They open at 8:30 in the winter. You need to buy a ticket (30rmb) to walk up. Along that trail, you will see the frog rock and then end up at the hammer mountain. Going up takes about 1.5 hours if you stop and take pictures. If you see signs saying "next mountain", that's just an incorrect translation. It just means "the way down".
  • A nice park for taking an easy stroll to the Sledgehammer Peak and Frog Rock. There are a few steps on the way, but its worth the effort as you will be rewarded by great views. Please bear in mind that in China most touristy places are paid for and this one is no exception (entry fee was 50 CNY per person in November 2016).
  • Hammer Peak. Geological curiosity that can be accessed by cable car or through a beautiful path leaving the Pule Temple that is very worthwhile. The views and the photos are beautiful and with that it is worth seeing and enjoying it. Next to the hammer there is also the peak of the Frog that can only be seen if you walk the trail.
  • Very picturesque place, worth a visit! A round-trip ticket on the funicular costs 80 yuan per person, one way - 50. A ticket to the park itself per person came out at 25 yuan.
  • Great park with impressive rocks and beautiful nature!
