Plenty to see and look at inside some of the buildings, especially good for us because it was raining. However there were no lights inside, so if you want to see clearly, use the light on your phone.

Free with your admission to the small potala palace. It's a quick trip with not much to see but it's also very close to the small potala palace so you might as well go check it out.
