One of the world's oldest institutions of its kind, Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens feature more than 1,000 species of mostly tropical and sub-tropical plants, as well as many birds, mammals, and reptiles. Walk among the exotic vegetation, fountains, and sculptures to spot rare species of redwood and ailanthus trees. Divided into six distinct areas, the garden complex includes a greenhouse sheltering orchids and carnivorous plants. The southern entrance features a memorial arch commemorating Chinese soldiers who died during the two world wars. An oasis of calm and beauty near the heart of HK. The birds were interesting, especially the flamingos, and their exhibits looked relatively nice. The primate exhibit on the other side of the road...

It's a large garden in Central with views of the city, and a variety of plant and animal species. The admission is free as well. Great place to wander around in. There's a lot of uphill walks coming from the MRT and in the garden, so remember to pack a bottle of water.

Much fun for kids and a beautiful gardens . All though the animals were closed, we saw some birds and kids had fun doing it. We walked a lot and finished exploring at most 1and half hours time.

I recently visited Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens Green House and it was an incredible experience. The Green House is a beautiful and well-maintained conservatory that houses a diverse collection of tropical plants and flowers from all around the world. It was truly a feast for the eyes to see so many vibrant and colorful species all in one place. The Green House is also home to a variety of exotic animals, such as turtles and various species of birds. It was a joy to watch them interact with each other and their environment, and to learn about their unique behaviors and characteristics. The staff at Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens Green House were friendly and knowledgeable, providing valuable insights and information about the plants and animals. The entire facility is clean and well-organized, making it easy to navigate and enjoy. Overall, I highly recommend visiting Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens Green House. It's a great way to spend a few hours immersed in nature and to learn more about the diverse flora and fauna of the world.
