One of the most important attractions in Macau, there are many drugstores and shops nearby for tourists to shop. Exquisite Portuguese architecture is preserved. There are beautiful lighting decorations on important festivals such as Christmas/Chinese New Year, which is very charming. There are music performances in the square from 6 to 8 pmin the evening. It is worth coming to feel the atmosphere.

Senado Square For connoisseurs of classic views, Senado Square is very interesting, located in the central area of the Macau peninsula, which in 2005 was officially included in the UNESCO world heritage list. The historical traces in Senado Square are very thick, from the architecture of the building which is dominated by the Portuguese style. There is also the Church of St. Dominic. For photo hunters, the buildings in Senado Square are a pity to miss. The neo-classical buildings mixed with the splendor of modern architecture attract visitors to take pictures. Ceramic floor with a very distinctive motif. There are old buildings painted in pink, yellow and other colors that deserve to be immortalized and a fountain in the middle of the area as a landmark. There is also an ancient The General Post Office building which is still well maintained.

Senado Square is a paved town square in Macau also a part of UNESCO Historic Centre of Macau World Heritage Site. Vast majority of the buildings around the square are European styled and many are protected monuments. Beautiful place with shopping option, every corner is picturesque. A Must Visit In Macau !!

This feels like the heart of Macau Peninsula. Always vibrant day and night.

The sky was just unbelievable when I was there! It looks unreal even now thinking about it. It’s very touristic full of mainland Chinese especially, but the whole district is quite impressive. A Portugese touch in a tiny plot of land, back in the days of early settlement it must have been so unreal. And of course the egg tarte was excellent! A must try, it was delicious :)
