The Sculpture Park of the Chinese Ethnics has recently been relocated from the Grand Taipa National Park to the Comendador Ho Yin Park on the Macau Peninsula as part of the dual celebration of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the 20th anniversary of the reunification of Macau and China. The exhibition is free for everyone and is open 24 hours a day. There is a small exhibition centre within the park that is open from 10am to 7pm daily. They have done a very nice job relocating the entire 56 sculptures and making much better use of Comendador Ho park space, presenting the full collection amongst a well landscaped and manicured garden setting that makes very very nice outdoor viewing conditions. What you will see are 56 bronze sculptures, representing individual ethnic minority groups within mainland China. They are unique sculptures and collectively rather interesting to see in this otherwise quiet area of the peninsula for sightseeing.

The Chinese Ethnic Sculpture Garden is the only exhibition garden in Macao with the theme of ethnic sculpture. It is divided into two parts: the sculpture exhibition area and the exhibition hall. The sculpture exhibition area displays fifty-six sculptures with the image of the Chinese nation as the theme. The positions of these sculptures in the garden are placed with reference to the actual settlements of various ethnic groups. , we can clearly understand the characteristics of the nation, its distribution in the country and its living area. The exhibition hall mainly reflects the life characteristics and spiritual outlook of various ethnic groups through pictures, moving images and ethnic objects, and at the same time presents the rich and colorful traditional culture of the Chinese nation with distinctive personalities.
