  • You are surrounded by history and beauty here. Multiple buildings with multiple Buddhas, two of which are carved from single (giant) pieces of jade. Tourists mingle with observant Buddhists and Monks.

  • A place of peace amidst a huge city The pearl of orient, Shanghái. At the entrance of the temple you will see a huge drum to one side and a bell in the other this are played in turns at dawn and in special celebration days. When walking on the pagoda which has seven stories overlooks Shanghai and offers the visitors an opportunity to enjoy a privileged sight of the modern city from an ancient building. Behind you will see a building where still monks live and shelter. Surrounding the pagoda halls and small temples are place to worship the deities and to give a place for contemplation and prayer. The remarkable buildings are garnished with golden colours roofs to remind you about being in a sacred place. The detailed and exquisite adorns of the buildings will remain in your memories as they were meant to be when the artisans and builders planned them. A must visit all the way.
  • A beautiful Mahayana Temple with very beautiful Chinese architecture. There is an entrance fee which costs RMB20. A very relaxing and serene place to contemplate about life. There is no ramp and as such it is a little inconvenient for wheelchairs users as well as children traveling on strollers.
