Shanghai Maglev Museum, Shanghai

The museum looks astonishing and is huge and with huge I mean HUGE!!!! Its easy to reach via public transportation and it is definitely worth a visit. Even if you aren't into art, you should definitely go there and at least take pictures of the building. Thumbs up for the architecture.

For a free exhibition, yes - this is great value! The building is super impressive and overwhelming when your eyes first catch a glimpse of it. 90% of the collection is contemporary but there doesn’t seem to be a flow between rooms or exhibits. Nevertheless; it’s not as busy as the other museums in town and has a metro directly below it

Love this museum, in Shanghai just besides the exhibition centre. Apart from regular art and cultural part, they have many other beautiful part of the exhibition, especially multimedia digital art section, unbelievable. What kind of research work needed that without seeing, one cannot believe it.

There is a subway station next to it. It is very convenient for tourists to get here. China Art Museum is open from 10-18, except Monday. The space inside makes you feel comfortable. You can spend all day long to have a nice look of all kinds of Chinese artists’ exhibitions.

Nice museum that's got some good art. There aren't really any signs in English so it can be a bit confusing as the place is huge. Good for a rainy day if you've been to the Shanghai Museum already.
