  • The Shanghai Science & Technology Museum is a great place to take the kids. It is huge - 4 floors, several exhibition hall, and several IMAX/IWERKS theatres. We arrived soon after it opened and stayed until late afternoon. The kids had a great time in the robot and space areas, and the younger ones enjoyed the wildlife exhibitions. It’s easy to get to on the Metro and has its own stop on Line 2.
  • Must visit place in Shanghai. It is huge and has lots of actitivites for everyone.
  • Outside of museum is with ample space, can book tickets online also. Direct exit from subway station. Close to the museum, there's a big shopping area. Prices are bit higher than normal, but always need to bargain. It's fun to shopping there...but do not buy unless you accept the price is right.
  • This is like the Explorium for Shanghai. A great place to learning some knowledge for old and young. We browsed each hall and were amazed by the display. Our favourite was the automation/robot section. The interaction are well designed. There are heaps of school students visiting too. Some of the items need some maintenance.
  • This place is absolutely great. Definitely a landmark to visit on a school field trip. It is very educational and provides many resources for those that want to learn about science and technology. So many convenient things as well. Not to mention the portable charging stations all around. Come and check it out. It will not disappoint.
