  • Went there with my family and in laws and we were so grateful that we made a decision to come there. The traditional Chinese architecture was just blowing us away and we were so impressed.

  • This was my first eastern temple and it did not disappoint. (My friend, who is Chinese, had never been, and said it was one of the best she'd ever seen.) It is a 45 minute drive from downtown...

  • Rongguo Mansion is located inside of Zhengding County, which is a very beautiful place. The entire county is filled with historical vibes and the place has been used to film historic shows and movies before. The Rongguo Mansion is well maintained and is very quiet. However it is unlikely to take you more than 30 minutes to complete touring of the location. I would recommend the place for people that would like to take some nice portrait pictures. The location is very empty and has many nice looking structures and backdrops that you may be able to use for photographing yourself or your subject. If you have been do any other palaces or mansions in Beijing, this one may pale in comparison. Considering the lack of things to do here, I would consider the 40 yuan ticket to be relatively pricey.
  • This temple is somewhat confusingly called Big Buddha Temple (大佛寺) by locals (and on some maps and the bus stop), but in fact its official name is Longxing Temple (隆兴寺). A beautiful and very large temple, set in lovely grounds, you should allow at least an hour for your visit. The huge copper Guanyin after which the temple is named is extremely impressive. Entry costs 50RMB. Unlike the other temples in Zhengding which are lit up and stay open until 11pm, this one closes at 5.30. It’s very easy to get to, being only a 20-minute cab ride/drive from the centre, or take bus 177 from the medical university bus stop (河北医大) north of the stadium on Zhongshan Road to Zhengding Nanmen (正定南门; if using a transport card you’ll be asked to pay a second time when leaving the previous payment zone). Then walk into the walled town to see a map with specific directions to the temple (and all the others in Zhengding).
  • treasure of chinese ancient architecture (宋)
  • Boring there was no intresting things there apart from the icecream
  • There are so many cultural relics of the Tang Dynasty. There are six most worthwhile scenic spots in the temple, which can be watched carefully all day long.
