Costa Rica Waterfall Tours, Jaco

We did the Extreme Canyoneering. The staff are first class and you felt safe the whole time, albeit nervous nonetheless which creates the thrill! We felt the price was a little steep when we were booking it but think it is absolutely a fair price after doing it! The breakfast was a nice start with to an adventure that encompasses two zip lines, two waterfall jumps, a handful of shorter rappel stages, and then a monster final rappel stage that is the longest in Costa Rica. Our family of five loved it. Even the 11 year old who did the whole thing with enthusiasm (he was a little nervous for the final stage but did it and was very proud of himself). We have never rappelled before but the adventure gave us great memories and a new skill. This is our fourth trip to Costa Rica but this is probably the best thing we’ve ever done there.

I cannot say enough good things about this waterfall tour we went on! Cristian was our tour guide and from the moment he picked us up he was amazing! I loved visiting the little town where the base camp is and hospitality from the ladies who cooked us an authentic Costa Rican breakfast were awesome. Cristian made me feel safe because I was a little nervous of the hike which was very slippery. He also got me to do the 8 foot jump into the waterfall which I am so glad I did! He had an extensive knowledge of the native plants, insects, and animals. The whole hike and waterfall itself is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen! Definitely something we will always remember!

The extreme cliff jumping tour is a must! So many beautiful views, authentic meal, and you get to climb awesome spots that are exclusive only to this tour company. Our guide Joaquin was the best. Super fun, friendly, informative, and helpful. Thanks guys!

Christian was a kindred spirit who showed us the true meaning of Pura Vida and taught us how to truly appreciate and understand the beauty of the land in Costa Rica. This was hands-down the best day we have had and every day here has been amazing. If you don’t do anything else, book this trip. You won’t regret it and you will learn about every tree, every waterfall and we even spotted the rare glass frog. Easy for those who just want a simple hike and challenging enough for those looking for a thrill! Wear comfy water shoes and enjoy every second. Also, the food they provide was amazing. Mucho gusto 💕

My family of 4 had an incredible time on the canyoning excursion! Omar was a terrific guide- knowledgeable, skilled, personable and fun! We loved our authentic CR breakfast before our adventure. The entire time we felt safe in all elements and had an absolute blast! Also, the views were second to none!
