  • The entire area was lush, well kept, and beautiful! The variety of plants was amazing! Go early in the day, as walking the paths can get quite warm. We managed to spot toucans and a sloth. No monkeys....  more

  • This is a must see, for sure! The landscape and waterfall/mountain/ocean views make this place magical! It takes a few hours to truly take it all in and observe the flora and fauna of the gardens...

  • This a truly a wonderful garden with a delightful owner and helpful staff. Fabulous views and interesting trees and plants. As for the birds there were macaws Nesting in the garden and sitting in the trees. The view from the little restaurant was magnificent. You could see right across to the Pacific ocean and the waterfall in front. Well worth a visit on your way to the airport from Manuel Antonio. Not touristy at all.
  • The word beautiful isn't enough. The garden is awesome! Then, there is the platform where you can view the waterfall and a spectacular view all the way to the ocean. Just stunning! You are still pretty far from the waterfall. You aren't playing in the water. We were greeted by some wonderful staff and the owner. It caters mostly to tour groups, but you can go there on your own too. It's $20 usd to get in. When you see what kind of work would go into maintaining the property, you will understand why it costs some money. Totally worth it in my opinion!
  • These gardens were beautiful, it was part of an excursion from our cruise ship. The views and plants were stunning. It was made special because I was using crutches following a knee operation and couldn't make it to certain parts of the garden. The lovely kind owner drove me down in his car so I could see the waterfalls x
  • A vast and stunningly beautiful gardens, and a wonderful place to look for hummingbirds. We didn't give ourselves enough time to walk all the paths. I would give yourself a half day or so. During certain times of the year, the waterfall is very beautiful, but you can't get very close to it. This is a must see place if you're in the area.
  • Skip this and do the hike down the road for 20 bucks. This was all old people who had $1000 cameras and couldn't make the trip to the actual falls. You only get a view from a quarter mile away observation deck! Bah! The cost to see the falls is $10 not worth it at all. No access to swimming and the secret trail on the side of the observation deck is like pro level stuff! Bring markers or you will get lost. To be honest, I went half way down and turned around it was too intense. Probably because it isn't part of the actual attraction lol.
