Pure Trek Canyoning, La Fortuna de San Carlos

This was an absolute blast of an experience! First let me say the staff were absolutely amazing human beings. They were caring, attentive, and funny. They definitely made us feel safe through the whole experience and explained everything as we went along. During monkey drop, i asked to be let down slowly and they did, which I was greatful for. This is not hard. Even if you are not athletic, you can enjoy this canyoning experience as they belay you from both top and bottom and they have full control over your ropes. Now let me tell you about the lunch they provided, this was hands down one of the best meals we've had in Costa Rica. And their sauces (specially the greenish-brown one), not sure what it was but we didn't find anything similar to it anywhere else and it was THE best thing ever! They offer unlimited coffee at their office and oh my, it tasted like a warm hug! And finally, the pictures and videos they took during were amazing. Great quality and the best souvenir. 100% recommend this company and the canyoning.

We did the waterfall canyoning with Pure Trek and it was absolutely amazing. The crew was fantastic and well trained. They gave us proper instructions and took us on a journey of a lifetime. Each of the different waterfall's we rapelled on were different and the surprise monkey drop was also real fun. The lunch provided after the tour was delicious, one of the best meals I had in Costa Rica. The pictures are well worth the price you pay for them, just get them already :)

Extremely friendly staff, great adventure experience. We booked the rappelling and zip lining through Pure Trek. The Zip lining was contracted out to a different company, but pure trek set up all transportation, and provided lunch. I also purchased photos from Pure Trek. Highly recommend this experience. Don't need to bring anything except a change of clothes bc you will get soaked, completely dunked under water. They provide lockers and changing area

These guys are SLEEK! They have everything down to the a T. I can not say enough great things about this adventure and business. The monkey drop was the single best experience I had in Costa. This is an absolute MUST if you are near La Fortuna. Huge shout out to our way fun crew: Diego, Jonathon, Isai, and Samuel.

By far my favourite Costa Rican experience. You won't see the waterfalls of the rainforest from any other perspective. My son (age 13) is terrified of heights but the staff were great with him and by the third waterfall he loved it and felt very proud of himself. On the monkey drop you zipline to the middle and then plunge into a natural pool below. They Listen to me when I said I can't get my ear wet and slowed me down so that I landed in the pool instead of dropped. This tour is definitely not accessible but otherwise okay for most fitness levels. People with me and back problems may struggle. Wear light clothing that is comfortable when wet.
